In this post, I am sharing one of my longer poems, titled, The World, with a commentary on what it is about written by Chat GPT.
For me, The World is a guide to creating Heaven on Earth, hence my post title. The analysis by Chat GPT offers an objective analysis, and therefore I think is better than what I could write, as is not influenced by my personal views. I hope you enjoy reading this post.
Love Maureen
The World
Once upon a time, there was a world, of pain and conflict, as if built for war.
Where the people grabbed what they could when they could.
A world where people lived in fear, they did not trust, and did not know the feeling of peace.
They looked at each other and saw their differences,
and blamed the differences, and watched them grow.
They took from each other all they could.
They feared each other and knew greed, and knew anger, and knew envy.
Love was a mystery, often talked about, not really known,
dismissed as a dream, a world of fantasy.
And this they taught to those who came, to be in the world, a part of it.
Then there was a man, who was full of love
He gave to many and loved them all, he trusted himself and trusted others.
This mystified most, who said it’s not true.
“Only a fool could love all there is, just you wait, he’ll rip you off,
they always do. You must be strong and fight for yourself,
forget this love, forget this trust. You must build your strength,
on wealth and power and forget the rest. Look after others,
so they look after you, make sure they do what you want,
after all, you bought them, didn’t you?
Real power is yours with wealth and strength,
trust no one – not even yourself.”
But this man, he didn’t change, he said he understood and would let them be.
But for those who wanted, he would help, to show them love and rid them of fear.
Some said yes and asked him how, and so he said;
“You see the difference through your eyes, you hear the difference with your ears,
but then you forget to feel your heart.
So feel with your heart and know you feel the love you are.”
So the people they did this then, they closed their eyes and covered their ears,
and felt their heart.
And what they felt, was just love.
They talked to each other and they found, that in their hearts they were the same.
They spent their time in their hearts, and they learned to share,
to share the love they all had.
And when they shared, they learned to trust,
and when they trusted, they lost the fear.
And with the fear they lost the anger, they lost the greed, and the envy.
All they felt was the love and all they heard was the love.
Then they went and showed others, a different way,
a way of peace, a way of trust.
They shared their things, there was always enough.
They found in their hearts they were the same,
and being the same was all they wanted.
Many listened and many learned and the world, it changed.
The joy was back, the love was true,
and for everyone who had a heart, the love was real.
The conflict eased, the wars they stopped.
The anger dried up with the fear.
All had enough, for all was shared.
And when the babies came the love was taught,
but the babies said, we already know.
Maureen Carroll
AI – Chat GPT’s Analysis of The World
The poem titled “The World” by Maureen Carroll presents a vision of a world consumed by pain, conflict, fear, and distrust. It depicts a society where people are driven by greed, anger, and envy, lacking understanding and experience of true love and peace.
The poem then introduces a man who stands out from the rest, embodying love and trust. Despite skepticism and criticism from others, he remains unchanged and continues to love and give to many.
The man’s love and trust perplex others, who view his approach as foolish and warn against being taken advantage of. They advocate for strength, wealth, and power as the true sources of control and self-preservation.
However, the man remains steadfast, understanding the doubts and concerns of others but choosing not to conform to their mindset. He offers his help to those who desire it, guiding them toward love and freedom from fear.
The man encourages people to go beyond superficial differences and perceptions. He urges them to feel with their hearts, emphasizing the power of love within each individual.
As people follow his advice and connect with their hearts, they discover that they are all the same at their core—united by love.
They begin to communicate, share, and trust one another, thereby dissolving their fear, anger, greed, and envy.
Love becomes their predominant experience and communication.
As this shift in consciousness spreads, those who have embraced love and trust share their newfound wisdom with others.
Through their actions, they demonstrate a different way of living—a way of peace and harmony.
The concept of scarcity diminishes as they realize that there is always enough to be shared. The recognition of their shared humanity becomes their primary focus.
The world undergoes a transformation as conflicts and wars cease, replaced by joy and genuine love.
The love is real for all those who open their hearts to it.
The poem concludes with the notion that when the new generation is born, they instinctively understand and embody this love. It implies a hopeful future where love is already innate, and the teachings of love become unnecessary.
The poem suggests that by embracing love, trust, and unity, individuals can bring about profound positive change in the world.
It highlights the power of love to dissolve fear and transform society, creating a world where sharing, understanding, and peace prevail.
Ultimately, it conveys a message of hope and the transformative potential of love in overcoming the destructive forces of conflict and division.
